This is a small light that I have
in my front window.

colour didn't match anymore.

SO.......

I made hundreds of little flowers!!

The pics are not the best quality but I am sure
you get the idea.

If you have any questions please
message me!!

"Spiffy" up that lampshade!!

Hi everyone!
It has been ages since I have been
able to post.
But today I wanted to share some
lampshades that I have been
working on.

Lampshades are so boring!!
So I decided to "spiffy" them up to
match my newly decorated bedroom!

Here is the boring shade...

And here is my "spiffy'd" up version!

Many...MANY hours went into making them!
But I love them!

Hope you do too!

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate
to leave it in the comments!

a sweet little girl I adore!

This next set are sets I made for my dear mum

And here is a glimpse at what I am doing for my guest room.
It will say...
"Be Our Guest"

Happy anniversary!

This pop up card is from the idea
of Karen Burniston again.

It's one I recently did for my
daughter & son-in-law's
5th anniversary!

I hope you like this idea
and give it a try.

You tube her video for instructions
and other cool ideas!

Another MR & MRS!!!!

So here is another wedding card!
One of my faves to make!

I got this idea from Karen Burniston.
She has some amazing pop-up cards.

The whole thing ends up being kind
of like a book.  I use a 'belly band' to keep
it all closed and together.

The accordion looking end pieces are quite finicky
but so worth the effort!

I used clear vellum sheets to create
a back drop.
The "Mr & Mrs" is letters cut out with the cuttlebug
and then ran each through the Xyron and glittered
them up!!

I hope you liked this pop up card and will give it a try.
Karen Burniston has many
cool videos on youtube.

I will post other ones I have finished soon.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Mixed Media Canvas

Hi again!

I have been trying something new.
Mixed media on canvas.

I have been watching some very
talented people on youtube
and they have inspired me to try.

I am nowhere near as good as they are!!
But is so fun.
I hope to improve as I keep trying new things.

Here are two of my "newbie"
creations.

This first one I did for my mum.
She has similar colours in her craft room.
I at the end of it all...I added some
polka dot feathers.
(Sorry no pic of that)
It looked better.

This next one I put in my guest room.
It looks quite gold in the photos...but in reality it isn't that gold.

Well....Thank you for stopping by again.
I love this new art form and I hope you do too!

Custom Coasters

Hi again!
Just wanted to share some custom coasters
that I made for some "country"
folk in the family!

This is their "logo" that they  use on
many things.

I had to print it onto acetate and then
carefully cut it out in order
to use it as my template on these
coasters.

These little trinkets I made using shrink dinks.
And I tied them to the gift at the end.

The next 3 photos are of coasters I made for
their kids.
These are not the finished coasters.
After this they were sanded smooth and sealed.
